My wife and I started a songwriter and musician’s collective called Creek Creative that performed on the 2nd Thursday of every month in Long Island City at The Creek. Creek Creative was an excuse to make sure we are playing monthly but more importantly providing a platform to push ourselves in directions we normally wouldn’t go. It was a great experience but the energy to organize and execute outweighed the enjoyment it was giving back.

I do miss the joy of winging it each month to see what gems could come from chaos… like this time when Nathan Tysen asked to make something up on the spot.
